Hi there. Welcome to my table, here in the corner of this cafe. 

I built this Table back in 2010; back then, it was a mere personal blog to document my exploration of specialty coffee. In the five years since its inception, it's become much more than that.  In the past few years, the Table's popularity has grown exponentially and it is now a certifiable coffee review website with specialty roasters from all the country (and, indeed, all over the world) send in submissions.

Reviewing coffees has become something of a part-time job for me; after working at my full-time job, I go home and put in an additional ten to twenty hours per week brewing, cupping, and writing detailed reviews of these coffees. Unlike an actual part-time job, I don't receive any income for writing these reviews. This, of course, makes it hard to cover all the necessary expenses to run the website (gear purchases and maintenance, website optimization, purchasing coffee, domain registration, hosting fees, etc.).

After putting a lot of thought into this, I've decided to set up this gofundme account. I've set the goal at $400 - which is just enough to cover hosting and domain fees for the next three years. If donations surpass the $400 goal, you can rest assured that all surplus funds will still go towards the site.

Whether you're a reader who appreciates the content I'm constantly pushing out or a roaster who appreciates the free service I'm providing, I'd very much appreciate any contribution you could make.
