Bounty& Soul is a grass-roots nonprofit organization dedicated to providing healthy food and nutrition literacy to underserved regions of Southern Appalachia, where they experience the nations highest rates of poverty and food insecurity (1 in every 4 children in this region go to bed hungry ). Besides the three FREE fresh markets that Bounty& Soul currently sustains weekly, it is only scratching the surface of the incredible need that exists. Bounty& Soul has just purchased a grant-funded truck in Miami that will take them one step closer to addressing hunger and fufilling their vision of healthy food for EVERYONE, no matter their income level. Once it gets "home" the truck will be transformed into a mobile market, allowing Bounty&Soul to travel to rural areas where people have limited access to healthy food. Besides providing food, the mobile market will build community and nutrition awareness at each of its destinations. Please support this worthy cause and help Bounty & Soul begin to transform people's lives.
