Sullivans are climbing Mt Kenya!

In December, Mark and Sarah will be climbing Mount Kenya for two charities close to our hearts; Restart Africa and Macmillan . Any support, little or large, would be greatly appreciated – to find out more about why we chose these charities please read on:
Restart Africa
This October, Sarah will be leaving her London life to pursue a volunteering role at Restart Africa – a charity based in GilGil, Kenya that was set up in response to the desperate needs of the street children. Sarah will be working as a volunteer and PR consultant for two months before heading to Mount Kenya. The charity, which was set up in 2008 has given a great amount of love and opportunity to the homeless children from the streets of Kenya, where drugs, violence and prostitution are rife. Restart provides children with a home, education, care & counselling and also works with the local community on an array of projects to provide worthwhile employment.
Macmillan
In February this year, we received the devastating news that our incredible Auntie had terminal laryngeal cancer . Sadly on 8 September, after a six month battle, Kathryn passed away. The strength and determination Kathryn showed during this time makes Mount Kenya look like a walk in the park however we wanted to use this opportunity to show how grateful we are to Macmillan for all the emotional and physical support they have offered.
It is also worth mentioning that although Mark has some past experience climbing mountains, Sarah has never climbed a mountain before so this is quite the feat for this father daughter duo!
