Laying Jared Burnham to rest

Jared Michael Burnham, a loving son, brother and father, has suddenly passed away a week shy of his 39th birthday. Jared was a lifelong resident of Avon. He was a great father to his son, Nicholas, 13, who he loved more than life. His life long partner, and mother of their son, Lisa Portnoy, is in a depth of pain. During these hard times, his family asks for help, as a little can go a long way.

Update: Funeral will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, February 25 at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Michael’s Church, Avon at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jared’s memory may be made to the Nicholas Burnham College Fund, PO Box 93, Stoughton, MA 02072.
