Moonshine & Honey by The Hook
Originally founded in 2014 and revived in the summer of 2017, The Hook is a four-eyed, original band from Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania! From roots to blues and rock to reggae, The Hook rocks an alternative genre that doesn’t make being a hipster or hippie a prerequisite, and gives classics a different flare.
With influences ranging from Sublime to Foo Fighters, The Strokes, The Black Keys, Jack White, Motown and classic rock icons (The Temptations, Gloria Gaynor, The Beatles, The Kinks, The Doors, Led Zeppelin and more), The Hook finds that sweet spot, and keeps you there.
Carlos, Chris, Youssef and Joe bring a lifetime of love for music and making memories with good people and great vibes, 100% of the time.
We want to make it, and we want you to join the ride. Part of that journey is releasing a killer album with people you love to share with family, friends, new venues, promoters, producers, labels and more. 
After years of writing and jamming, we're ready to drop our first debut album, Moonshine & Honey. The Hook was first introduced to moonshine and honey by Carlos' dad, João. The album's artwork is inspired by old photograph of Carlos' parents in the late 80s, meant to convey an addiction for nostalgia - a deep longing for a better time and place . The essence of this album is captured in this phrase: live, love and sing like there's no tomorrow but always be true. In other words, embrace your disposition - feel good about where you are, what you've done and where you're going but don't get ahead of yourself - always remember where you came from. Life, love, work, relationships, winning and losing - Moonshine & Honey is like taking all of the finer things in life, jamming them into a bottle and chugging, but tasting every drop (sip on the lyrics, savor the beat). The result is something simple, sweet, serious and intoxicating.
Fact about being a "rockstar": it's expensive. From equipment to recording time, printing, design and production and distribution, we need your help by January 1. The struggle is real, but the outcome will be so worth it (we promise). Every dollar will fund each and every second of this album and. the road to our release date: January 2018.
