Help Michael Fight Cancer

Our dear friend Michael has just been diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma, a very rare, very agressive form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. His doctors are optimistic about his prognosis, but he will need to undergo a very intensive plan of in-hospital "super-chemo" and other treatments this summer. They expect he will have three - four rounds over several months.

Michael is a husband, father to four-year-old Asher, a musician, friend, son and brother. He has an infectious laugh and an open, generous heart.

Michael and his wife, Ruth, are very optimistic and ready to beat this and move on with their lives, but they are facing great out-of-pocket costs, even with insurance. In addition to the medical expenses, there will be untold additional costs of childcare, meals, and unpaid time off. They are facing a tough journey.
