Dough for the Doughboy

Donation protected
The Morton Grove Historical Society needs your help!  We want  to preserve our village’s iconic  Doughboy Statue.  It was first shared with the community by the Women’s War Working Circle in 1921 in honor of the Morton Grove soldiers who fought in World War One.  The Doughboy is turning 95 years old this year and is starting to show his age. Major repairs are necessary on the plinth to keep him standing well into the next century.  Just like any major renovation, we won’t know the complete costs until after we get the process underway.  We also want to build up the fund for any future repairs and renovations too!

Please help us by making a donation today!  The Society and  “The Doughboy” thank you!
