Underwater dancer
Im Kelly, A mermaid enthusiast from the get go. I grew up on beaches, making it obvious why I have a love for the water.
I perform professionally in Boise,Idaho.
I sing, I dance, and I'd like to add underwater performing to my bill. The problem being that as a performer underwater, the audience needs to be able to see me. A viewable window into my "underwater world" that local water sources don't allow for.
My current goal is to build a tank, allowing myself the option of performing underwater.
I have many Ideas!
The possibilities are endless!
Currently it is difficult to "practice" in a way that would be realistic to putting on a show for viewers.
This would allow me to begin looking for work inside aquariums in other cities as an underwater performer as well!
Building a tank that is custom to my needs would allow
1. Indoor and outdoor use for events expanding Boise's cool factor A woman who dances under water is pretty magical in my eyes
2.Safer & regulated practice area
Our local river is so cold my wirsts hurt after about 5 minutes of being in the water, not to mention it is dangerous. Many of our water sources are murky.
3.Artistically, the option of expanding my repertoire. Growth is good, right? Keeping the mermagic alive outside the bounds of the desert!
The tank (pre production) will be in need of
supplies averaging 3,500.00 This cost is a safe estimate for the metal and glass to begin production and pay the artist who will be designing and adding his touch to it.
