WHAT IS Mentors4Moms
Mentors4Moms is a 501(c)(3) public charity. We offer a Christian based mentoring program for pregnant and parenting moms that connects new Moms with a mature Christian Mentor who will provide her with a loving and supportive friend who is there to assist her with the challenges of raising her child.
Mentors provide parenting advice and biblical counsel that will empower Moms and enable them to provide the best possible loving care and direction to raise a healthy, well balanced child.
OUR MISSION:
To love, support and educate young moms and enhance their lives and the lives of their children by providing her with the friendship and guidance of a Christian Mentor.

Mentors 4 Moms was founded by Jacquelyn Mendoza, of Escondido, California, a Christian mother, of 1 son, Christopher (28), who has had a love and a heart for children her entire life. Jacquelyn has a degree in Early Childhood Education and 25 years of experience working with children from birth through 5 years.
"Having been a single mother, I know the struggles of raising a child! Thankfully I had the love and support of my Christian mother who had an extensive Early Childhood Education background and was able to educate and guide me throughout my life."

She was always there for me to turn to for Wisdom from the Word of God, for advice, for friendship and a listening ear. I know how essential her wisdom was in helping me to raise my son and helping me to become the Christian woman that I am."

OUR VISION:
To provide young Moms with the tools she needs to know the Love of God, the Support a friend and have the Education. that will help her raise healthy, well balanced children who are able to develop into successful and contributing members of their community, and empower her to be the best Mom she can be!
HOW DOES M4M WORK?
Moms are matched with a Mentor who maintains weekly contact with the Moms to guide and support her with raising her child. Mentors provide parenting advice and biblical counsel that will empower Moms and enable them to provide the best possible loving care and direction to develop a healthy, well balanced child.
Mentors do this by sharing their lives with Moms and being there as a friend to give her the message of God's love, mercy and forgiveness through the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
Along with Mentoring we offer several programs that are easy and fun that will provide our young Moms with Early Childhood Education, Child Development and Parenting Skills that she needs.
EARN WHILE YOU LEARN PROGRAM – is a program that offer educational DVD Lessons on a variety of subjects that will give her the tools she needs for raising her child. Moms can earn M4M Dollars to spend on items they need for themselves, their child or home by participating in this program
M4M BOUTIQUE - New and gently used maternity clothes, baby clothes, toys and other items needed for child growth and development are donated here. Moms can then use the M4M Dollars they earned to purchase the items they need.
PARENTING WORKSHOPS offer Moms a half day group seminar with a professional who will give her the skills she needs to run her household and live as a successful parent and adult.
PARENTING ARTICLES are posted regularly on the website for Moms to access anytime she needs to
ONLINE MENTORING - Mentors are available by email to answer any questions moms, who are not committed to being in the Mentoring program, may have.
Our BIBLE STUDY PROGRAM is a great start for Moms that want to learn more about God's Word and how to apply Christian principles to her life

Like any nonprofit we are starting from scratch and could use a helping hand getting started. With your donations we will have the ability to acquire all of the items we need for a Successful Start-Up.
