Megan Longo Villanella Memorial

Donation protected

God must have needed another angel... and on March 3, 2017, he called Megan Longo Villanella and her precious Adaline Grace (who was to be born on May 18, 2017) to join him in Heaven.

Megan blessed the lives of so many people during her 34 year-short life.  She was a beautiful person, both inside and out, and she brought out the best in every person she came in contact with.  Megan was genuine, thoughtful, passionate, hard-working, driven, talented, and full of grace.

Sadly, Megan was tragically killed on the morning of March 3, 2017 while waiting at a bus stop with her brother (who recently moved in with her family so he could spend more time with his beautiful niece, Megan's daughter Isabelle) to commute to their jobs in NYC.  They were both struck by a car whose driver was under the influence.   Megan's brother was hospitalized and treated for numerous life-threatening injuries, but Megan and her unborn baby girl were killed instantly.  In that one moment, her husband Jim lost the love of his life, and her 22 month old daughter Isabelle lost her loving mommy and soon to be baby sister.

Megan grew up in Bucks County, PA and graduated from Council Rock High School.  One of her many passions while growing up and attending high school was playing sports, particularly softball.  Megan was a talented player and she loved the game.  She later went on to play softball at Lafayette College while studying business and marketing.

Megan touched the lives of so many people during her lifetime that we want to honor her life by memorializing her name and memory at one of the places she loved most... the softball field.

The Council Rock North softball program (John Engelhardt / Justine McEachern) has partnered with Jen West (Megan's best friend/ CR teacher), and Stacey Johnson-Whitfield (friend/CR teammate) to create a fund to purchase a memorial bench to be placed on the girls' softball field at Council Rock High School North in honor of Megan Longo Villanella.  All additional funds raised will go towards a scholarship for Megan and Jim's daughter, Isabelle.
Our goal is to unveil the bench at a game later this year. We will communicate through social media when a date is set.

Please consider supporting this fund to help us forever remember Megan... an angel on Earth who was called to Heaven much too soon.
