"What you need is a queen who can CREATE!"Hello all! I am Alyssa Concepcion Acker-Moffett, a sophmore business adminstration major concentrating in marketing and entrepreneurship and minoring in fashion merchandise at Clark Atlanta University. I will be competing in the Miss Delta Charm Scholarship Pageant on January 28, 2015.
With my sights on the Clark Atlanta University ‘s business program, I graduated high school with honors and a 3.67 GPA. I have always been a leader throughout high school, being the Secretary, Vice President, and President of Students Working against Tobacco, President of African American History club, and Captain of the Diamond Girls Pep squad. During my matriculation at Clark Atlanta University I have continued to be a leader by participating in SGA as the freshman class representative, Student Elections Committee, Women’s Leadership Council, Business Leaders Initiative, NAACP, and the Homecoming committee. currently, I am the community service overseer of .F.I.L.T.E.R., a Femdelacreme mentor, and a member of the prestigious Orientation Guide Corps. Being an artist who enjoys serving her community, I hope to bring creativity to community service by implementing my platform “Your Community,Your canvas” as the next Miss Delta Charm.
I am fundraising to pay for my pageant fee of $600 as well as all of my other pageant needs including formal wear and other materials.
