23 Dogs RESCUED from FL HOARDER

Maxx & Me Pet Rescue www.maxxandme.org based in Tampa, FL was notified in Feb 2015 by a loving rescuer about dogs living in a dire hoarding  situation. These dogs were set to be seized by Levy County due to condition, being fed every other day, flea infested, neglect so much that our vet tech said it took 4 baths until the water did not run red and multiple other issues including spay/neuter, infections, medical, prior abuse, etc. We are at our breaking point and have sacrificed to save these dogs from certain euthanasia as they were being seized by Levy county.  We simply can not sustain the staggering bills which are over $25,000 to date in vet bills, boarding, surgeries, supplies and care.  We took in now 23 dogs TOTAL as a TINY rescue in 2 months!!! Boarding is $15/day per dog plus extensive vetting including medical issues, HW+, meds, food, etc. and continual costs have been astronomical until homes can be found. We have a phenomenal reputation and excellent vet references to verify we are a legitimate rescue that takes in time and time again hard cases!! Any donation is so much appreciated, we thank you for your support and for sharing our story!!!
