We're raising money to send Mattie Brice to GDC! You're probably all familiar with her through Twitter (xMattieBrice, formerly xGalatea), where she seems to be in the middle of every interesting conversation; her personal blog is Alternate Ending, and she also writes regularly for The Border House (including producing their podcasts), Moving Pixels, and Nightmare Mode. She concentrates on diversity, social justice, and narrative design; her ultimate goal is to break into game development, focusing on game writing and narrative design while subverting from within.
She's got a GDC pass, but needs money for plane fare and hotel. If there's money left over after her GDC expenses, she'll use that to travel to PAX East and/or GDC Online.
Many thanks for any money you can spare; any and all contributions are greatly appreciated! Also, please spread the word on Twitter, blogs, Facebook, etc.
