The Mascot Miracles Foundation was founded this year, 2013, by a big-hearted mascot named Felix the Falcon. Felix has been a part of the mascot world for 20 years. A few years ago, he met a little girl who had cancer and changed his world. He saw the smile and happiness his simple presence brought to her. From there, he started going to events for other children whose families were in medical crisis. He dreamed this vision of a Foundation that would provide activities and special events for kids facing unthinkable illnesses, from cancer, to special needs, to rare disease.
Felix gathered some friends, and now there’s a whole Zoo of Mascots with the same vision.
With contributions from past donors and sponsors we have been able to have hundreds of children fighting the unthinkable and their families participate in events such as... Night at the Aquarium, Night at Cowabunga Bay, Halloween Barnyard event, Polor Express and many one on one events. Of course, each of these events have the Mascots there, making the kids and their families; laugh, play and forget the pain, stress, and sadness that they face.
In order to put on these events WE NEED YOU and help in raising funds. The more funds we have, the more memories, smiles, and laughter we can create for these children and families. We would encourage you to come to any of the public events to see what your contribution has helped us create.
