Maria Elena is currently fighting Lymphoma for over a year. She has undergone aggressive chemotherapy treatment over the past four months. Although the chemotherapy has helped reduce the size of the tumor, the cancer is still alive and recently the tumor has begun to regenerate.
The next step for treatment is stem cell transplant surgery which involves a huge medical bill, long hospital stay and even longer recovery period.
We are asking for donations of any amount to help relieve the financial burden.
Maria Elena has lived an incredibly humble life. She values family, community and love over anything. She has taken in abandoned adoloscents off the streets and into her own home giving them shelter, a sense of family and teaching others about selfless love. She is a wonderful grandmother of three, proud mother of three, and a generous member of society. She is constantly giving away what little she has, to others. Now it's time to give a little back to her.
She is not one to ask for anything from anyone, and this page has been set up without her knowledge. We want to help bring a little peace of mind by handling her finances so she can focus on fighting the cancer and on her recovery!
