Manuel Madeza, is a 60 year-old veteran. He and his wife, Cindy, have just celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary. He is the father of grown children, one of whom has special needs. He also has two grandchildren.
On March 20th, 2015, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. CAT scans have shown that the cancer has spread to his liver, stomach, and gallbladder.
His illness will cause a significant emotional and financial burden for his family. He has no sick pay or life insurance.
