Mama's Post-Chemo Celebration!

Hi! My name is Sam and my amazing mom, Kathy, was diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer in March 2015.
My mom is still going through chemo and I'm inspired by her strength of spirit: even though the chemo visits are weekly and the drugs are taxing her greatly, my mom still gets up every day and takes care of her house and her job. It has been inspiring watching her for my whole life while she raised three of us on her own, never stopped by the hurdles life threw at her-- now I'm filled with a new respect and admiration for this powerful woman and I'm so proud to be her daughter.
I'm starting this GoFundMe because I, and I know you, believe that my mom deserves to celebrate getting through an intense bout of chemo and fighting this cancer off. Her happy place is the beach, so I want to help fund a trip to Ocean City!
Unfortunately as you know, surgeries, hospital visits and weekly doctor's visits add up and we are already in financial trouble. With your help we could enjoy ourselves at the beach and celebrate my mom surviving this awful disease.
Here is a breakdown of how we will use the money:
$600 for 3-day hotel stay
$300 for medicines and supplements so my mom feels well enough to enjoy herself
$250 for food
$50 for gas; $50 for basic beach supplies
+$ to cover gofundme's fee.
