Make My House a Mardi Gras Float

Donation protected

I am a local New Orleans Artist. I have been doing extreme decorating on my house in the French Quarter since, Mardi Gras of 2009 when, The Krewe of Zulu celebrated their 100th Anniversary, I payed tribute by making my house look like a 100 year old Zulu float(see picture) complete with a paper mache Zulu King head, a Zulu Queen mannequin, painted coconut garland, black and gold wings, and Zulu warriors. Since then I have continued a different theme every year: 2010 Jesters for celebrating The Societe' du Sainte Anne, 2011, an Asian theme with a huge Dragon head, 2012, a traditional Cajun Folk MG theme with a huge Alligator named, Ignatius. Of course, these decoration draw in revelers who participate  and enjoy this by taking their picture with the main focal point that year and send me their personal pictures to my email address for me to collect and make into my own personal coffee table picture book. you can go to my Facebook page and go see the past years in my photo albums there.
This year's theme is, Hindu with, a huge paper mache sculpture of the elephant deity, Ginesh, the Remover of Obstacles and, my mannequin will be Shiva, the Destroyer. I would ultimately like to begin creating it within the next week and have finished building it in time for the Superbowl on February 4th.
Happy Carnival and, I hope to see you at 1300 Chartres on Mardi Gras Day, February 12, 2013!
