KW Advantage II Red Day Project

Many people know that Keller Williams is the fastest growing real estate company in the US. But what many may not know is that KW is committed  to serving the community and the people. Throughout the year the Culture Committee works with different organizations to raise funds, gather donations, or lend a helping hand.

Each year on the second Thursday of May Keller Williams agents and staff members select a project for RED Day. RED stands for Renew, Energize and Donate. This year Keller Williams  Advantage II Realty will be will be working with United Global Outreach to help the Bithlo community again.

When you think of small town America, our Bithlo community is the perfect example. Surrounded by rural areas and a total population of about 8,000, Bithlo is comprised of families eager to enjoy the conveniences and amenities that greater Orlando boasts and yet still being too far to reach. Unfortunately public transportation does not reach the community situated on the outskirts of East Orange county. This makes it hard for the basic conveniences we enjoy to be obtainable for these hard working individuals, which has brought down this community's literacy rate, raised domestic violence and kept a low overall median income. 

United Global Outreach has developed the Transformation Village creating a town center which includes a school, library, health care clinic, and a veterinarian. Unfortunately, the growth has affected the current septic system. Last year we were able to get the permits necessary to replace the old system and with your help we would like to finish what we started. Our goal is to collect $20,000. We appreciate every donation, no matter how small. 

On May 14th, agents and staff will take the day off from work to volunteer in the community working on beautification and repair projects. With your help we will also be presenting a check to pay for the much needed septic system!
