Class of '15 Senior Mission Project

Wisconsin Academy's senior class of 2015 is excited about our upcoming mission project to serve the Oglala Native American community at Pine Ridge SDA Mission in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. At Pine Ridge, 49% of the population live below the poverty line, 80% are unemployed, the infant mortaility rate is five times above the national average, and life expectancy is lower than anywhere in the western hemisphere except Haiti.
Between April 12 and 19, we will be helping out with a number of projects, including reconstructing a community member's dangerously dilapidated porch. During the evenings, we will be conducting evangelistic meetings and a VBS.
