Washington Colliery FC Repairs

Between 8.30pm on Tuesday, February 3, and 10.30am on Wednesday, February 4,  someone broke into a portacabin at Washington Football Club, in Spout Lane. 

Thieves made off with football nets, a set of strips,  corner flags and other equipment as well as causing thousands of pounds worth of damage to the changing rooms themselves.

The ground is home to Washington Colliery FC senior side and also their under 17, 15 and 11 teams.

The estimated cost of repairs and replacement equipment is £4000 which the club simply does not have.
