Help with Cosmo's vet fees

On December 24th, I received a distressing message from a friend..... Were we able to open our home and our hearts to save the life of a Great Dane pup that was going to be euthanized if he didn't find a home by that evening?
But there was a catch..... he was DEAF.

We had only recently added a deaf female Great Dane to our household. Would having 2 special needs dogs be too much to add to our already 3 dog household?

We were hesitant, but he had no rescue prospects, no where to go. Finding a home for a Great Dane is difficult, let alone a deaf one.

Time was running out.

We had our reservations, but said "YES!"

So Cosmo came to join our family.

Despite being through 2 homes already for his young age, due to no fault of his own, we saw through him being underweight and malnourished (due to an incorrect diet), full of worms, and crawling with fleas.
He was beautiful to us. And still is a beloved member of our family.

Now unfortunately we are no longer in a great financial position.

We DO NOT wish to re home any of our dogs', as we made the commitment to keep them safe, happy and loved for the rest of their days.

However we ARE asking for HELP to do the necessary vet work to keep our household happy and healthy.

Cosmo is now healthy enough to be vaccinated and desexed.

After a vet consult, even with assistance from the National Desexing Network, Cosmo requires additional treatment due to his weight and breed.

Great Danes are notoriously sensitive to anaesthetic and require a special brand, which of course is extra.

We have also been told that he has a vision impairment which will require further investigation. Apparently this is common with white Great Danes.

Please help us.
