Godstone School - All Weather Pitch

The Dolling family are all going to Paris in April. On Saturday we (Josh and Imogen) will, for the first time, both be participating in the Paris mini-marathon where we will both have to run 1,200m. That is quite a long way for our little legs but we are both going to try our very best!
Mummy and Daddy will then run a marathon (26.2 miles!) on the Sunday. Although they have completed a marathon before they have trained very hard for this year’s event; battling early mornings, injuries, ice baths, snow and rain, and they have not had a single drop of alcohol since New Year’s Eve!
We don’t usually ask for sponsorship however our village school desperately needs a new all-weather playground so that the children have the opportunity to learn and play outside all year round. This will benefit not just the current pupils but also generations to come. The pitch is going to cost in the region of 42k and currently they still have a short fall of approximately 10k despite support and contributions from Sports England.
