My name is Gabriel Medina and for those of you who haven't heard yet, a very good friend and restaurant colleague, Luis Gallardo has been recently diagnosed with Cancer.

My name is Gabriel Medina and for those of you who haven't heard yet, a very good friend and restaurant colleague, Luis Gallardo has been recently diagnosed with Cancer.
He is currently undergoing treatment and needs as much support as possible. On behalf of Soma and the Azuma Group we are trying to raise what money we can to support him in his time of need. The funds will directly go to paying for his treatment. Recentlt he has already undergone surgery to remove one of his kidneys and already that costs over $25,000. The contributions may look small but they mean more in the grand scheme in the quality of his life.
Any amount of donation is much appreciated.
We have found other ways to support Luis, one could visit any of the Azuma group restaraunts and find that we are serving a Gallardo Roll. All proceeds to this roll go directly to this campaign.
On October 23rd I Chef Gabriel Medina, will be hosting a limited sized pop up at our local industry bar Glitter Karaoke 2621 Milam Street. Houston, Texas 77006. Doors open at 8 PM and I'll be serving food all the way until they close or until I run out.
