Adam's Hullabaloo

In lieu of flowers my family is asking for contributions to the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo. It's important to us as a family to give back to the community who essentially made up a lot of who Adam was as a person. The Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo is "an association of artists, art organizations and art lovers that exist to nurture the cultural environment of our community." Their mission, "to support, promote, and fund the arts" is something that is very near and dear to Adam's heart. Donations can be made here securely with a debit/credit card, or if you'd rather make a cash/check donation, we will have a collecting box at his visitation and funeral (details will come when available). When I receive a mailing address for this organization, that will also be provided. If there is an alternative charity/organization that you feel can benefit in Adam's memory, please contribute there. Although this has been extremely tough to write, it also comes with a smile. I say this because just a few weeks ago my brother and I were discussing GoFundMe and how people use it for some very interesting things. Then he exclaims, "Kara! I should make one for a new Michael Kors purse. Whoever decides to donate can maybe borrow the bag for the day!" Thinking back, it's actually a pretty brilliant idea.
