I have been passionate about aviation since I was eight years old, but it took me forty years to get my pilot's license. One of the reasons was the cost. Flight training is expensive, and I think it holds a lot of people back from pursuing their aviation dreams. Now that there're Light Sport Aircraft, flying is much more accessible.
That's why I want to open a Light Sport Aviation Center. It makes flying more affordable; it reduces the barriers to becoming a pilot. So, I went to school and got my Light Sport Repairman Certificate (LSRM) with a maintenance rating and researched LSAs.
My goal is to open Vegas Adventure Flights and offer training, rentals, service and sales, in the Las Vegas area to start. My plan is to be a dealer for a couple of great LSAs: the Sting, Sirius and the Savage Cub. These are state-of-the-art planes that are safe and easy to fly. Perfect for getting your Sport Pilot license. I'll be getting my Light Sport instructor rating, so I'll be able to do flight training as well as servicing the planes.I
It has been a dream of mine to start a Light Sport Airplane (LSA) service center for years. I'm raising money to help get started so that I can provide adventure flights, flight training and plane rental and sales. Currently looking at becoming a dealer for the Sirius and Sting LSAs .
*We will provide 1 hour of flight training for each $100 you donate. (See note at bottom.)
Providing Sales, Service, (Maintenaince/ repairs/inspections) training/rentals. An LSA center done right can provide a more cost effective way for people to get into aviation.
I'm a private pilot with a single engine, Land and Sea ratings. I should have my LSA instructor rating before the year ends.
I also hold an FAA certificate in LSA mechanics that will allow me to perform maintenaince, repairs, and condition inspections on LSA Aircraft.
It is coming together. I even have a friend that wants to partner with me.
My goal is to raise half the money or more we need to get this started. Basically enough to buy one of the planes, insurance, and parking for a year.

Training will be occor at our Airport KVGT unless other arrangements are made. Of course ,all training is subject to the safety of the flight. Although Las Vegas has more sunny days than almost anywhere else, we cannot gaurantee the weather.
