Logan's Run by Jamon Montessori

The Jamon Education Foundation is sponsoring Logan's Run/Walk, its inaugural 5K and Family Fun Race, on April 30th.
The source of inspiration for this run is three year old student Logan, who was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis last spring. At that time, Logan lost the ability to walk and was only given a 33% chance to walk again. This fall, she took her first steps and quickly progressed to running!
Watching Logan’s courage and determination has been a blessing and a lesson for us all. Our goals for this run are to inspire others through life’s hurdles and to foster an awareness of this rare disease, Transverse Myelitis. Proceeds will go towards Logan's medical expenses and the Jamon Montessori Day School S.T.E.M program.
This race is for all fitness levels and is scheduled for April 30th at 8:45 am. at Westover Elementary School, Silver Spring, Maryland. This is a USATF sanctioned and timed race. Mark your Calendar!
