Teen Suicide Prevention Program
Donation protected
Trinity Crusades for Christ is specifically interested in helping to build a project dealing with suicide. Suicide takes the lives of nearly 40,000 Americans every year. In the month prior to their suicide, 75% of elderly persons had visited a physician. For young people 15-24 years old, suicide is the second leading cause of death. An average of one person dies by suicide every 13.3 minutes. The strongest risk factor for suicide is depression.
Beginning in 1991, Trinity Crusades has provided a service dealing with Teen Suicide and witnessed to over 1.2 million teens.
Growing this program by training new speakers at a cost of $5,000.00 per speaker is the first goal. At the present we only have two speakers. The dream is to place a speaker in every state, and not only speak to teens but expand to include the elderly in assisted living homes and like facilities.
We are asking for help in providing a service to those of you who feel the call to help in this worthwhile endeavor.
