L.A. Bound for Pilot Season

I have been a Texas actress for 33 years.  Because my critically acclaimed film BOYHOOD is up for several Oscars, it seems like the time to head to Hollywood with my suitcase of dreams.   You never know until you try, right?   There's a slim chance you will be funding a trip to the Oscars, but primarily I'm going for what is called Pilot season - a period of about 6 weeks in Feb. & March when new TV series are cast.  It sounds simple enough, but OMG, there are so many things one needs to see this simple plan through:   A new cell phone, a tablet, eye exam, new glasses, contact lenses, new resumes, new headshots, new demo reels, new tires, videographer fees, eating out for 6 weeks, and of course gas for driving all over LaLaLand.  I have friends & family willing to put me up & that is a real Godsend.  So if you have a couple bucks you want to throw my way, I will graciously accept it.  Asking for help has always been a hard thing for me to do. In fact I don't do it.  So with this venture I'm learning how.  Bless all of you for your support.  I believe in all possibilities.
