"Unfettered by time, destiny waits for one to recognize their path, and walk towards their future. Move forward with the left stick. Jump with A." - Some Unnamed Non-Playable Character
I am a 23-year-old independent game developer, animator, and all-around student of life. I'm looking for support from family, friends, and interested new people for helping my three game projects become a finished, completed reality.
I am inspired to develop games independently. My dream is to create games - to take ideas about worlds, stories, and people - and turn them into interactive amalgams of artistry, entertainment, and logic.
Creating games is a wonderful, challenging task. Ideas and stories are transformed into windows that let us peer into another world. Places that people can experience and lose themselves in, if only for a short time.
I have been developing three games for nearly three years now, funded by my own meager amount of savings, and the good graces of my family.
Game development takes a lot of time, and I'm standing at the precipice of my realized goal. I'm close, yet I need the help of kind people willing to invest in my future, and the future of these games.
$5,000 will allow me to focus on development for the next few months. Anything more could potentially allow me to commission an artist, musician, or whatever else could make my games even better.
If you would like to help make my dream a reality, please consider donating what you can, and share this campaign with your friends and family. Every little bit helps.
I am offering several rewards for various donation amounts. Some of them are simple things like getting a copy of the game once released, or a t-shirt. Others are more complex and limited, allowing you to have some contribution and interaction with the creation of these games. Check the sidebar to the right to see all the reward levels.
The three games I've been developing are (in order of conception/creation) - SETI: First Contact, Shadow Possession, and Potato Farmer.
