Green Renewable Energy! Solar Power

For quite some time I had this idea to reduce my carbon footprint and install some solar panels and perhaps even a wind turbine in order to supplement my electricity usage. Eletricity costs are on the rise and it would be simply amazing if everyone contributed just a little and reduced their carbon footprint!

I have done extensive reasearch on renewable energy, mostly concentrating on solar panels and wind power. For my project I will need:
Solar panels, preferably two, since once 100w panel will take a very long time to charge 100ah (amp hour) sealed lead acid, battery in full sun. Two MC4 connectors to connect the solar panels to the charge controller,  some DC wiring and obviously a battery bank! I am thinking of getting a 100ah SLA (sealed lead acid) deep cycle battery and a 1000w inverter with it. I am hoping to get pure sine wave inverter, because modified sine isnt't very good for sensitive electronic appliances like computers or cameras etc. :)

If things look good, I will also invest your donations into a wind turbine! 3 phrase AC with a rectifier, that way I won't have to get expensive DC cables and I will minimize my electricity waste that goes into DC wiring.
