The School of Sanatan Dharma has created a GoFundMe page in order to raise funds for our transition into a classroom. The fundraiser would directly fund the facility fees that will allow our small school to grow into something much more for the community of Sacramento in the near future.
Each step could not move forward without the assistance of public funding. We have concluded that we are in need of $6000 to cover facility fees and general costs for the entire year. Up until now, we have only asked the public when your assistance was absolute necessary. Your generosity is crucial once again. Even a $5 contribution will count towards fulfilling our ultimate goal.
The school is administered by Pandit Amit Maharaj with the assistance of teachers, parents, and the supporting community. Our school does not charge a fee for our students and our only goal is to teach our next generation with courses not offered to them via public education. This includes the languages of Hindi and Sanskrit, as well as, focusing on various aspects of Indian culture (Vedic history and contemporary Hinduism topics ).
Any financial support that is provided would allow our school to function at a local public school, obtain materials, and the ability to expand in the future. I speak for all the teachers, parents, and students, that we truly appreciate any contributions to The School of Sanatan Dharma, as we believe TOGETHER we can educate our community to their maximum potential.
