On with the show... TL;dr
We spent $25,000 trying to see if we could bribe (er, incentivize) founders to talk to customers and run experiments. We could, and they did.
Now, we are raising $100,000 to give directly to founders who otherwise might not be "fundable," all in the name of learning, equality, and innovation.
If we can prove that this next experiments creates superior learning outcomes than the average entrepreneurship class, and superior ROI than the average seed fund, I am going to raise 10 million dollars.
Here's the TL part....
First we raised $1,000 from ten big time #leanstartup mentors to give one team funding at a billion dollar valuation. The valuation was a gimmick of course (higher valuations are not always good) but the funding for talking to customers and running experiment, instead of just for building a product and marketing -- was entirely new.
We then spent the next 2 years and $25,000 of our own money investing in teams who talked to customers and tested hypotheses.
Now we are ready to take our learnings and scale that program.
We are looking to raise $100 from 1000 people. We are 11 down, 989 to go, thanks Steve Sherman for going first! (thank our donors and support our campaign in one click)

There is NO GUARANTEE that you will get funded from this campaign, but if you are a founder who has raised less than $50,000 in their life - feel free to submit a hypothesis to our trello board and mention GOFUND ME. You will be put at the top of the list if you get to column 4. We will not start paying out for AT LEAST SIX months, so DOUBLY DON'T DEPEND ON US. (Not guaranteed to get it, and even if you get it not until at least winter 2017)
