L'Art de Vivre scholarship program Rwanda
For many of us education is a natural given, this however is not the case for many young people in Rwanda. L'Art de Vivre (ADV) supports pupils and students from disadvantaged backgrounds, who's families can't afford their educational fees.
Education enhances the process of self-fulfillment as a consequence this can also enhance the development of the community in which we grow up. The philosophy of ADV is that in time people and their community need to be able to provide for themselves, without help from abroad. Therefore we ask our scholarship students to help ADV by arranging the administration in Rwanda on the one hand and to be active in developing their community on the other hand. This they can do for instance by setting up awareness projects like AIDS/HIV and malnutrition.
According to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (Article 26) everyone has the right to education. To accomplish this and to reach our goals and fulfill our mission as an organisation we need support from the global community. We therefore ask your help by donating. Even the smallest amount is helpful.
