In Memory of Larry Langone

Hello, my name is Laura R Langone.  Over this past month my Aunt and Uncle, Diana and Lawrence Sr, and cousin, Teresa have experienced a tragedy beyond explanation. 
On Nov 23, my 22 year old cousin, their son and brother Lawrence S. Langone Jr had passed away unexpectedly.  He was in law school fulfilling his dreams of being a lawyer and coming to find himself independently as a young man.  He was a very smart, charismatic, loving, family oriented, chivalrous, and; most of all not afraid of life or any obstacles that confronted in his path.  He was a true fighter, never taking life for granted.

 Due to Hurricane Sandy, they are also without a home.  The house has sustained significant structural damage and can't be repaired. The loss of their home being their first devastation, but by all means nothing close to what they experienced this week. While focusing on emptying out what is left of their home on LI, they received a call that no one ever expects... that their son in Florida had passed away.  

And though I hold a heavy heart for their loss, words can't explain how I think they may be feeling yesterday, today, or tomorrow.  The loss of a son and a brother, and the loss of their home giving them incompleteness.  And to all who know Lawrence, the loss of a grandson, a nephew, a cousin and a friend cannot go unthought-of. Their family and friends have been a great emotional support.  But, the financial strain of losing a home, and most of all having to say goodbye to a son is unfathomable.
Lawrence was a beautiful soul, touching the hearts of many, he will be greatly missed, his memory will be our comfort, and live in our heart forever.  

I wish there is more I could do to ease their pain.  With your help, I'm hoping to help lift some of the financial burden of funeral costs, and perhaps a bit more toward a home.  Please find it in your heart to donate whatever you can.  Thank you for all your love and support.
