Lakeview Library Wheelchair Lift
Donation protected
Our vertical platform lift is over 25 years old and is currently out of order. We need a new lift in order to transport the disabled, elderly, and parents with strollers from the sidewalk into the library.
A new lift will cost $18,000, but will be completely up to code, fast, and easy to operate.
Please help us make our library accessible to EVERYONE. We don't want our beautiful historic building to be intimidating to anyone. We have often heard that people avoid coming to the library because of our stairs and by our wheelchair lift. Libraries are for EVERYONE.
