My name is Lucy and I am 5 years old. My mommy, who adopted me, loves me so much. I wag my tail so hard, that mommy's afraid I'll break it! But I don't mind, because I love to jump, play and be cuddled...except for the past few days...
The night before last, my excrutiating pain started in my back. I threw up in my mommy's bed 3 times and couldn't stop crying. Every time I move, I start to scream. My mommy started crying too. She took me to Miramonte Veterinary Hospital (

) and they gave me some medicine... I normally see in black and white, but I see RAINBOWS!
Today, I woke up and my legs had stopped working. That scared mommy so much, she raced me to the hospital. I've been x-rayed and put through an MRI machine. Since mommy works at the bike shop (

), she doesn't have the kind of money to do this alone and so the thought of the rising medical expenses makes her cry more. Please help us. Please help mommy not have to make me go to sleep and never see her again.
