Friends, we are indeed in dire times in our beloved city of Detroit, and across Michigan. It is more important than ever that alternate media like the Voice of Detroit continue to report the TRUTH about events like the state takeover of Detroit, unlike the lies foisted on us by the corporate media. VOD is a pro bono effort, and it is now time to pay its web host, Lunar Pages, its quarterly fee of nearly $400. We need HELP, please. The funds are not there, but the check has gone in since the account has overdraft protection. Well, friends, Voice of Detroit is in a bind again. I had to overdraw my checking account by quite a bit this week after the $349.00 quarterly web hosting fee came in unexpectedly while I was paying other bills. So any help you can give to keep VOD online will be greatly appreciated. Detroit is in a dire situation right now, with threats to cut 81 percent of the DWSD workforce, and renewed threats against Belle Isle, to mention only two situations.
