Fundraiser for Jim and Lisa Fox

Lisa Fox was diagnosed with breast cancer is August of 2012. She has surgery in September 2012 and Chemo in October 2012. She was then breast cancer free after the chemo, and in March of 2014 she had gallbladder surgery and found breast cancer in her liver. She then had chemo again in May 2014 and once again is cancer free.
Jim Fox was hit by a truck and trailer December 2nd 2013 in the BP parking lot in Potterville. He was in and out of the hospital three times with a week stay at a time and just didn’t seem to be getting better or healing, eventually they found that he had appendiceal carcinoma. Appendix cancer is extremely rare. Jims cancer spread throughout his intestines and was stage four. He had what is called a HIPEC surgery August 19th 2014 and they flushed out 99% of the cancer. Since then he has been battling healing and fluid building up on his body and in and out of the hospital. Currently he is back in the hospital and had a bowel obstruction and had surgery on January 21st, 2015 and they found that the cancer is coming back in his intestines and he is currently still in the hospital in detroit.
Lisa and Jim are the type of people who are always helping others and never ask for anything in return. They are a loving husband and wife devoted to their friends and family with hearts of gold. Now is our turn to reach out and help Lisa and Jim and there family overcome this tremendous burden.
