Travel Costs to Say Goodbye

My name is Emily and I have a wonderful son named Christopher Luka.

In my early twenties, I lived in Germany as an AuPair with a family with 4 beautiful children.  I enjoyed my time over there and made some lasting memories.  While working over there, I met another family with 4 children, one them was Luka.  I also helped look after the children and they all became very special to me.
Since I left Germany, Luka has been battling cancer for the last 5 years.  He is a strong, brave little boy and that is why I chose to name my son after him.  He fought off two different forms of cancer.  But, just recently, more cancer has been found and it doesn't seem to be one that he can fight.  His family has been through a lot.
I haven't been to Germany since 2007 and haven't seen Luka and his family since then.  I would really love to be able to see him and his family one more time before the cancer takes him away.  I want my son to be able to know the amazing, brave, and sweet little boy he was named after.  I want my son to know the kind, loving families that shared so much of their life and love with me in the short time I spent there with them. 

I am asking for help with the cost of the plane tickets so that my son and I can make it over to Germany to say goodbye to sweet little Luka.
