10 Year Anniv. TIME 2 SHINE TOUR

Urban Female Entertainment (UFE) was founded 2005 and we offer all of our clients NINE years of service.  We are PROUD to say that we are coming up on our 10 year anniversary this year, and we will be conducting a 15 city TIME 2 SHINE TOUR!

     We specialize in the presentation and marketing of artists and musicians through various events and promotional mediums. Our mission and focus is to make a positive difference in the lives of talented individuals to achieve their highest potential.  We provide support and cater to committed artists who are striving for success.  We value individuals who are serious, confident, competent and ambitious; we also value leadership and standards of excellence.   

      Our number one priority and commitment is to offer at all times, a world-class service that enables our clients to increase their exposure and to help reach their goals as an entertainer.  We provide venues to expose up-and-coming polished artists, producers, writers and poets from across the country. We want to meet the needs, wants and desires of all our aspiring artists. 

      We strive to achieve the highest possible standards in all we do as we a build long-term relationship with each client as an individual. We are committed to maintaining a rewarding environment.  We engage each client in the continuous improvement of our business by recognizing their talents and rewarding them with increased incentives and opportunities.  

      The need for this company was identified years ago but it took some time and creative thinking for the vision to be manifested and yet, the purpose has not changed.  The same wants, needs and desires that other organizations and companies tried to address have continued to haunt this industry through the years.  That’s when we stepped in.   We network with different genres of talent to gain recognition and expose their talents to the public eye.   

      We relentlessly pursue breakthrough ideas for our operational and marketing approaches and we welcome the opportunity to work on our feature showcase(s) with you.  We have studied the facets of your company and now have a better understanding of what needs to be done to help expose and break any new artist(s) on your label.  We meet the need of “expression” to our clients.  We express to our artists the importance of quality, sound, delivery, hot beats and catchy phrases. 

      For the performer, we want to see your artist create the need for the customer to compel them to buy their product.  The performance on stage is for the artists to sell themselves so there are no questions in reference to selling out all the products they bring to represent them. The public wants to hear catchy phrases so that it will stick with them after the song is over.   

      We encourage our performers to bring any promotional paraphernalia i.e. their albums, T-shirts, posters, mix tapes, compilations etc., with them.  They can sell them or they can give them out at the venues.  We express and encourage them to be professional at all times.  Professionalism, appearance and expression are the most important characteristics of an artist. 

      For the producers, we express to them to bring the heat.  A song can be bad but the beat can be hot.  You never know who may be in the audience watching and listening and just when you least expect something to happened, another artist or a representative from a record label asks, “Who made that track?” And you as a producer are receiving ‘spotlight’ just like the artist.   

      Or maybe another producer wants to network with you on a track and now you are building relationships, which is what networking is all about. We always encourage the producers to bring a beat CD along with their contact information on a business card because you never know who could be in your presence. 

      For the writers and poets, we express to them the importance of lyrics, content and tenacity.  Some artists write their own material, some have ghostwriters; and the same thing for the poets.  When a poet is performing, we want them to be ‘expressive’ and not ashamed of what is written.  Poetry is all about expression anyway and there are no rules; therefore, we encourage them to ‘deliver the news’ and not just recite the poem, but perform it so that the audience will have a better understanding of what the poem is talking about.     

      TIME 2 SHINE is our inaugural event and among future projects, UFE will work to celebrate and showcase the movement of urban music and culture, which continues to entertain and heal simultaneously. 

      Therefore, we will like to offer HEADLINER PERFORMING slots where your artist(s) can perform their best work in all of our premier show with the live professional band, taking place at the in Atlanta, GA at the TIME 2 SHINE CONCERT SERIES.

      The enterprise of TIME 2 SHINE must be balanced between our clients and the Corporate/Urban needs.  Our branding strategy is to get the clients to focus not just on their craft but also on the business side and NETWORK.  UFE wants to direct and influence all significant management decisions.  We hope to achieve in the future more performers to showcase from each state so that we can help as many artists as possible at the TIME 2 SHINE event. Since 2005, we are the LONGEST RUNNING CONCERT SERIES IN ATLANTA GA, and have had well over 3000 performers on our stage.

Event Summary/Fact Sheet 

“Celebrating the messengers of the music” 

The goal of TIME 2 SHINE is to restore classic, engage in head-to-head competition among highly talented artists in Atlanta, while celebrating the prolific history of Hip-Hop culture and R&B.  

TIME 2 SHINE seeks to expose the art of performing to an audience of new and seasoned hip-hop enthusiasts and fellow performers. We also donate the canned goods we get from the door to the Hosea’s Feed the Hungry & Homeless. 

Format of the TIME 2 SHINE Event 

·       Our audiences are allowed to come to TIME 2 SHINE half price before 9:30 with a canned good.  Door opens at 9pm show starts at 10:00pm

·       Our signature style of format includes a band at each show and a selected signature artists who will headliner each show-someone that has a big following. Their picture, name and contact information will appear on each flyer for the TIME 2 SHINE CONCER SERIES event, and they have a designated 10 minute time frame.  The Signature artist is the one we feel has a big buzz in the city, a good following, and a good promotional team behind them.

·       Eleven (11) artists total (twelve including the signature artist) will perform and there will be an intermission at the TIME 2 SHINE event where we allow networking and make important announcements.

·       In the first half of TIME 2 SHINE, there will be six (6) performers.  The host will announce each act as they come up and each artist is allotted four- six (6-8) minutes to perform.  

·       Some past performers include: Algebra Blessett, D. Woods, Havok Jones, Tony Terry, Dave Tolliver, Ray Lavender, Benny Demus, Alja Kamillion, Tavaria, Trav Writght, Eva Kennedy, D4L, TK n Cash, Malachi, just to name a few. 

·       We are proud to have our media sponsors support our event.

 TIME 2 SHINE:  Our Media sponsors include Black Vibes, Hype Magazine, Voltron Productions, Makin’ It Magazine, The Carolina Niche Magazine, On Tha Real Magazine, Revolutionary Radio, Indieheat.com, KIG RADIO , K100 RADIO, Key Design Media, SESAC, Blue Rocks Music, and Be Magazine. The sponsors provide radio interview & spins, email blast, social media promo, an ad in a magazine, cross branding promotions, a free beat, interview/photos at the show, Studio time, and flyers designed and printed.   

·       The remaining six (6) artists will perform during the second half of TIME 2 SHINE in each city.  Again, the host will announce each act as they come up and each artist is allotted four-six (4-6) minutes to perform. The headliner received 15-20 minutes on stage.

(July) GREENVILLE SC, DURAHM NC, AUGUSTA GA, BIRMINGHAM AL, DOTHAN AL

(Aug.) JACKSON MS, NEW ORLEANS LA, HOUSTON TX, MACON GA, ATLANTA GA

Raised monies will cover talent fees for host, PR services, wrapped tour bus, venue rental fee in each city, media/radio in each city, advertising, marketing/promotions, invitations, band for each city, food and beverage, décor, sound and lighting production, event production in each city, and security.

***EVERY company/organziation/person who doantes will have their logo on our step & repeat banner that will be very visible in every city with heavy media and advertisement.  Also frequent shout outs through out the night at each show in each city as well.***

If you donate, we ask (if you dont mind) that you send us a video that we can upload to social media (or tag us in it @atltime2shine) so that we can shout you out.

We will be seeking plenty of artist for the tour as well! 10-12 in each city. Who's popular in your city?

PR Service Breakdown: 

Media Outreach and Relations - securing a distribution pipeline for content created for the event with media outlets. Also securing at least one media partner who will cover each event. 

Copywriting - creation of all PR materials including, but not limited to, all media correspondence, press release, media alert, and VIP/talent invites 

Influencer Relations - we will identify and develop a plan to secure support of key people in each market who drive your target demographic. 

Onsite management - This will include, but not be limited to hospitality, information distribution, press pit, and organizing events onsite. 

Digital Press Room Creation & Management - create and manage flow of content from the events with pressroom.  

Social Media Management- creates and executes a plan to engage our audience using social and new media technologies. 

Sponsorship Procurement - solicit in-kind and monetary sponsorship for event production.
