After two years of writing and blogging, six books, multiple magazine articles and over 2500 hours typing...
I have been offered a legitimate publishing contract.
Becoming a Better Man at erikmatlock.com has gotten a lot of attention and been praised as helping a lot of families, but virtually no benefit to my own family. It costs more to operate the websites than they generate.
Not good.
This contract is a HUGE opportunity for us. They are offering national distribution, promotion through new websites and possibly tv ads. These guys are even discussing promoting me as a speaker. They want me to tell these stories in person.
The only catch is that we have to contribute to the first run printing. They don't offer contracts to authors that they not think will sell. They don't invest in new authors without an investment from the author as well.
We have to raise $2000 to get this in motion. That's money we just don't have. That's why we are asking for help.
