Sisu Youth's Fund for Shelter

Sisu Youth, Inc. is a Non-Profit 501(c)3 Organization in Oklahoma City that offers a variety of services to OKC Metro youth, ages 15 - 24, who are at risk of, or currently experiencing homelessness and/or other severe crisis situations. The word "SISU", pronounced "see-soo", is a word from Finland that means "to have extraordinary determination and resoluteness in the face of extreme adversity, or to succeed against all odds." Our goal is not only to bring an awareness to the issue of youth homelessness in our community, but also find short and long-term solutions. An urgent need that we have been working tirelessly to remedy is that of emergency shelter for transition age youth in the metro area. Our city is in desperate need of safe spaces for our young people to sleep, thrive and grow. We need your help! Together, with your support, we WILL make this happen!
