Fundraiser for Phase 1 & 2

We are in need of funds to get us through all phases of the filmmaking process including production and pre-production for Between Women Season 2. Our budget was set for 35,000 but we decided to raise the money to address our needs for the first two phases. (With your help we can go over our requested amount) Some of your favorite shows like Grey's Anatomy and Law and Order spend millions in production, so Between Women is starting small with plans to grow! We've established a goal of $35,000 for this campaign, but if we go over this amount (which we hope will happen), rest assured there are plenty of places to spend it. We hope you decide to help us complete this journey that is sure to be an inspiration and new favorite TV show in the near future!

ABOUT THE SHOW

Between Women season one was a 11 episode dramatic series that was released winter 2011. The women featured on the show are faced with life's everyday issues. We hope the fact that some of them happen to be lesbians will educate and open up dialogue for people to see that regardless of sexuality the same issues exist across the board, even the ones we try to keep hidden. Between Women will take you on a journey through friendship, love, domestic violence, death, and also suicide. Not only does THIS series wll give you something to laugh about it, you will also be able to see yourself as you fall in love with each character and story line. The script has been written by award-winning producer/screenwriter Michelle Daniel, will be directed by award-winning director Christina Brown, and we will be hiring an amazing production team to bring this project to life. With so many talented people working on this, we can't go wrong!

Who does the money go to?
Every penny (minus the fees for GoFundMe involvement) will go directly to the TV budget - i.e. Your money goes directly to the funding of this film.

$10,000  seems like a low number for a TV series budget. Doesn't it?You are correct. Fortunately, there are still very important investors involved in this film. The $10,000 figure is the remaining balance of a larger total budget. Our goal is imperative for the film to be a reality.
