It is with a heavy heart that this update is to say Miss Emersyn "Emmy" Leigh passed away on Wed Jan 21st at 8:57pm.
On Friday, January 16th, Emmy started to not feel well. They kept her home from school and she quickly got really really sick. She went to the doctor and was diagnosed with Flu A and strep throat. By late Saturday she was dangerously sick and her fever got to over 107, and she started seizing. She was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
Her liver and her kidneys are not functioning properly and she has a lot of swelling on her brain. She is very very critical and the doctors have not given them much hope at all...She is currently in the PICU on a vent fighting!!!!
This page is set up to raise money to help her family with any expenses they need help with!! I'm a friend of the family and once it's time to get the funds to the family I will withdraw it and it will be deposited in the family's bank account. Thank you so much for supporting the family!!!!!
