Our Young People Need A Voice!
Kids Talk LIVE! is a weekly Radio/TV talk show broadcasting on LA Talk LIVE! (latalklive.com) Saturdays at 1 PM PST. Our goal is to provide young people with a global broadcast platform for kids, by kids and about kids between the ages of 7-16. We're also looking to discover and inspire the next great broadcasters of tomorrow's digital age!
Hosted by Cassandra Daurden, nominated Choreographer and Artistic Director who began her professional career in Arizona, where she received a B.F.A. In Dance and Theatre form Arizona State University. She was a member of Desert Dance Theatre, Ballet Arizona, Alvin Ailey Dance Company & Adzido African Dance Company. She's performed in TV/Film and Broadway productions, including, Guys & Dolls, Little Shop of Horrors, Eating Raoul, Will Rogers Follies and A Chorus Line.
What We Seek and Why
We are seeking $5,000 to get Kids Talk LIVE! fully funded for the next 9-months on LA Talk LIVE! and the America Talk LIVE! Broadcast Network. Your donations will be used to improve the quality of their audio and video feeds through our vast distribution network; to acquire newer broadcast equipment, including mics, headphones, webcams and cables. A portion of the donations will also be allocated to rent the broadcast studio for a full day to host a series of all-day broadcast marathons to maximize exposure and awareness to children throughout America and overseas.
