Allie's KidNewsMaker Start-Up

Donation protected
12-year-old kidpreneur Allie, needs your help to fund her start-up as she prepares to unleash some positive peer pressure with her KidNewsMaker magazine
Let's get right down to it. She initially launched with under 100 copies, self-funded but after winning several  journalism awards, gaining a couple of endorsements. incorporating a video component, and 12,000 interested individuals later, she needs help to get her start-up to the next level.
Now, she's on a mission to show kids the newsmaker in them, reminding them to declare, "We're KidNewsMakers - we're not waiting, we're creating!"
Now, Allie is moving from the hobby phase to the business phase and is getting her start-up started. This is where you come in to help not only her with her dream, but also help kickstart the dreams of countless young people who will be inspired to not wait and begin to create.
She's already getting speaking engagements and working to pitch in various contests. Several schools and churches in low income areas are asking for her print publication to be included in their Thanksgiving giveaways and she wants to include a DVD as well so they can watch as a class together to see kids their age doing various things - writing books, starting businesses, achieving athletic and academic success and so much more. This will also give these kids further exposure in a market already tested and proven with  the beta phase.
Your support will:
1. Enable Allie to provide the print copies of KidNewsMaker to the groups that want them.
2. Maintain her website so that she can be able to show that she is in fact making strides and connect with kids electronically.
3. Purchase a second computer to replace the one that required repairs and lost all her data.
4. Purchase a microphone and video camera to do her videos.
5. Get capital to help her secure marketing materials to take with her to investors.
6.Cover minor travel expenses to go to the different offices in her city to meet with officials for endorsement and support
7.  Provide KidNewsMaker with the means to reach the masses and give youth the positive image the need to see in their peers so that they can empower the world.
Every dollar is one step closer. so your support is greatly appreciated.

BACKGROUND
At three weeks old, Alejandra Stack entered the newsroom for the first time and began her journey as a backstage baby to an award-winning journalist mom. She had the opportunity to meet many celebrities, politicians, and persons of interest and eventually charted her own course in media.
At age 8, she began reporting the morning news with her school's broadcasting club and at 10, she was the youngest ever columnist with 'Allie in Action', published in The Georgia Star and Florida Star Newspapers, owned by the legendary Clara McClaughlin.
After tagging along with her mother during the 2017 Presidential Elections, and spending several late nights in the newsroom reading through papers, she noticed something was missing - stories on kids.
As an ExCEL Youth Ambassador, the youngest member of her region's NAACP, and an actress who appeared in several major films, she encountered many young people who she felt needed to be highlighted. She also took some advice from her teen mentor, Gabrielle Jordan on how to go about convincing her mom it was worth it.
At 11, she used money earned from an acting job with the Cartoon Network to start her own magazine for kids to see themselves and offered her mom $50 to help edit it while she gathered her subjects to interview for her webseries, blog and magazine, rebranded as KidNewsMaker.
By age 12, she was received three media recognitions, including the 2017 Kidz Rock Award for Journalism in Atlanta, and the 2016 SHEMatters Award for Entrepreneurial Spirit at Johns Hopkins University in Maryland. She has also been recognized by two US State Senators, a County Commissioner and City Councilmember.
Alejandra now has a staff that includes contributors and two award-winning journalists with 60 years combined experience in the industry.
Her goal is to have her videos picked up by a major network or streaming channel and to have her magazines in libraries and schools around the world.
Email [email redacted] to request an interview. Please support, subscribe and share! Thank you!
