In Honor of Kelly Lambre

The Momentum Community is known and respected for a great many things, including compassion, perseverance and generosity. Over the years, we have come together in support of one another time and time again during challenging occurrences as far-reaching as a natural disaster and as deeply personal as a family tragedy. I'm writing to you today to ask your support for Deidre Lambre and family.
Our Community was saddened recently by the passing of Kelly Lambre, an Authentic, Loving, Powerful Leader of Leadership Team 96. A devoted husband and a compassionate father, Kelly was all about family. He referred to his beloved wife, Deirdre, as his best friend and a superhero. Kelly relished every moment he spent with his children, Zion, 9-year-old son, and Zoey, his 6-month-old daughter (a declaration from his own Residential Weekend).
Kelly would have turned 44 years old on June 28, a date that holds special significance to our community as it also is the birthday of Robin Diane Lynn, the founder of Momentum Education. And like Robin, Kelly believed strongly in contribution as a way of life. He was an avid snowboarder and hockey fan who was committed to developing an appreciation for these sports among inner city youth.
The loss of a husband and father is never easy. It is especially challenging when the children are as young as Zion and Zoey, and the void touches every aspect of their daily lives. Deirdre took a leave of absence from her position as a teacher in order to care for Kelly in the final months of his life. And as you might imagine, she has a lot to deal with in the aftermath of Kelly's passing.
No amount of money can make up for the loss Kelly's wife and children are experiencing. By coming together in a pledge of financial support it can serve as a reminder of the support the Lambre family has and will have during the difficult days, weeks, and years ahead.
Our Momentum Team goal is to raise at least $20,000 by June 28th, 2015 as a starting testament to the memory of Kelly and the kindness of those who knew him. Please donate and share with your friends, family, and networks.
