Hi everyone my name is Kelly and most of you know what has happened to me in the past month, it has been a crazy roller coaster of chaos for me and my family, you see 4 weeks ago I was told they just found stage 4 lung cancer and well you see i was beyond help so should go home and just wait to die, they gave me 6 months then with no chemo or treatments at all.
Can you imagine the shock my family and I were in and the fear we had just been gripped with I am only 44 yrs. old really how does someone just go home and die at that age?!Then the unthinkable happened I passed a bloodclot thru my heart and my family was told that is it she won't make it thru the night, well I did and even though I was in a coma for over 10days trying to breath on my own and fighting I did wake up I did fight back and I am still here now and now they have decided since I survived a miracle of survivle and had heart full of determination that I should get the chance at chemo and a new experimentle treatment that can give me anothere chance to live to maybe win and beat stage 4 lung cance, we can do this right?! Well we have no medical insurance or money so I have never asked for help in my life and for the first time I am asking for personal help with our medical and so I can get treatments you see some of them will be covered but the main chemo will not be covered either will pain meds or other meds and needs so we are very scared and hoping that with alot of love and prayers we can raise enough money to cover some of these expenses and give me that fighting chance to live.
So please I know times are really tough for all of us and I hope you can dig thru those sofa cushions and see what you can donate.
