Hey! Our names are Katie and Jewel Keča. We are sisters from Grimsby, Ontario. This spring, we are going on an adventure we’ve dreamed about ever since we can remember. We are going to ride our horses across Canada!
We will be raising money, as well as awareness, for the Lions Foundation of Canada Dogs Guides. It will also be about celebrating all of Canadas beauty in its 150th birthday, exploring our history and country at a slower pace, and making a documentary of our journey!
We will be starting in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, and make our way along the Great Trail to Vancouver, British Colombia.
The funds that we collect here will help us with equipment for the trip; such as saddles, helmets, rain gear and sleeping bags, as well as the cost of trailering the horses out to the East Coast.
We are planning to leave mid-April, so funds before our trip are extremely helpful, but during our journey would also help! Anything extra we will donate to Dog Guides.
The Great Trail is all about linking communities across Canada, and through your generous support we are able to experience this beautiful country in the communities along the way! We'd love for you to be apart of our support community to get us there.
